New graduates of baccalaureate nursing programs are considered for hire on most clinical units. All new graduates join the Nurse Residency Program that provides an intensive, mentored, clinical work experience during the first year of practice. Expert nurses facilitate the new graduate’s development with special emphasis on critical thinking skills, leadership abilities, communication skills, research-based practice, patient safety, and professional career development.

• Excellent general skills relating to RN license: IV infusions, injections, patient data collections, pap smears, assistance during invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests/procedures; assessment of different type of patients, assistance with ambulatory surgical manipulations, during labor/delivery, operations, emergency, intensive care.

Practitioner of mind-body interventions, manipulative and body-based modalities, treatments with herbal formulas and bio-energy, special exercises (Thai Qi, Qi Gong).
